We are Centre for Common Ground (CCG) and we are seeking a local Communication/Media Officer to provide management of all communications-related aspect of the CCG projects, with the main goal to collaborate with the production company and marketing agency in developing and promoting creative concepts aligned with project goals, and engage in platform selection and content adaptation. Additionally, the Media Officer will coordinate cross-promotion efforts and organize community engagement events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of all the media side of the project including collaboration with the media partners and consultants;
- Advise on key messaging, platform determination, and targeted audience identification;
- Develop a monthly social media calendar schedule for posts and promotions that assist in building meaningful connections and encourages community members to engage and view the content;
- Assist the team with the organization of events, including planning, invitations, and follow-up;
- Ensuring that all media outputs developed under the projects are up to the CCG and SIDA’s high quality standards and requirements;
- Collaborate with the marketing agency to tailor media products content to suit platform requirements and audience preferences.
- Ensure that the messaging from the multi-media strategy is incorporated into media outputs;
- Develop excellent relationships with national producers, production companies, media professionals, marketing agencies, etc.
- Supervise all multimedia outputs and oversees the content development ensuring its quality
- Support in collaboration with local media organizations, TV stations, producers, radio stations and others (including contracting, implementation of deliverables, and others).
- Ensure adherence to CCG’s policies and procedures by all project team members;
- Willingness to work within a flexible working schedule and travel to the project’s target areas
- As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the position-holder may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience, Communications studies, Marketing or related field;
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their demographics.
- Proven experience in media production, content creation, or digital marketing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in communication/media management; Extensive networking experience;
- Ability to communicate and edit in Macedonian and English language (Albanian is an asset);
- Ability to produce written content for online and offline communications;
- Strong technical experience with social media;
- Ethical professional with due diligence given to the sensitivity of project materials;
- Ability to work collaboratively to create and disseminate communications materials;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
